About the role

Data is at the heart of how we scale, innovate, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. As a Senior Data Engineer on our Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Telness Tech uses data to drive growth and efficiency.

You’ll work closely with business leaders, product teams, and engineers to transform raw data into actionable insights, trusted metrics, and automated processes that fuel decision-making across the company. This role is about more than pipelines—it’s about building the data foundation that enables our entire business to move faster and smarter.

What you will do:

• Partner with stakeholders across the company to translate business needs into data products that create measurable value.
• Act as an internal champion for data, inspiring and enabling colleagues to use data in smarter, more impactful ways.
• Design and build end-to-end data flows—from source systems to dashboards and insights—that enable better decisions and new opportunities.
• Ensure the availability, quality, and usability of data across teams, making it a trusted asset in our daily operations.
• Develop scalable solutions that help us enter new markets, expand our customer base, and support innovative product offerings.
• Contribute to the evolution of our data platform and play a key role in enabling advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation initiatives.
• Drive best practices around data governance, security, and compliance to ensure we can scale responsibly.

We are scaling up our platform to new markets with dynamic requirements, and you will play a crucial role in shaping, designing, and building fundamental components. As the company expands, you will help us tackle new and interesting challenges, scaling our platform from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions of users.

What you bring to the table

• 5+ years of experience working with modern data platforms and delivering business value through data.
• Proven track record of turning business requirements into impactful data solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing and operating robust data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake and AWS are a plus).
• Understanding of data security and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, handling of PII).
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills—you enjoy working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity, proactivity, and the drive to continuously improve how we use data to run and grow the business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high proficiency in English.
